SPECIAL SESSION: 50 SMARTEST COMPANIES IN CHINA

The TR50 first ran in 2010 as the list of "The World's Most Innovative Companies". Since then, the annual list has been one of our most popular and widely read features. In 2014, it was renamed the "50 Smartest Companies" to better define the types of companies we're looking for: smart in finding and using new technologies, and smart in understanding their markets and business opportunities.

In November 2018, the list of "50 smartest companies" of MIT Technology Review was officially launched in China. In addition to being open to local companies, the selection also focuses on multinational companies with major business operations in China.

On March 25, 2022, the 50 selected companies will be announced and presented in EmTech China 2021.
